Meet Jacques

Jacques brings together science and skill to keep your horse sound, balanced, and performing at their best. Having earned a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Galway and qualified as an IMF at the Irish Farriery under Irish Master Farrier Miley Dunning, Jacques takes a biomechanical, horse-first approach to every trim and shoe. 

Jacques offers shoeing, barefoot services, and lameness assessment for all horses — from competitive sport horses to happy hackers. 

Based in Millbrook, NY, and serves Amenia, Bedford, Brewster, Clinton Corners, New Fairfield, North Salem, Stanfordville, and surrounding areas.
